Where can I park?

Parking is free in Andover on a Sunday. The nearest car park is George Yard car park.

Do I need to be at the market to manage my stall?

Yes please! You can organise someone else to manage your stall for you but customers really love to meet the maker/producer, and there really is no better substitute.

What do I need to bring?

Your gazebo or producer stall will be set up when you arrive. You will need to bring your own table unless you have a producer stall as these have an in-built table. Chairs are not provided. Any other display equipment such as rails/racks etc will be over to you to bring. And of course don’t forget to bring your card reader and phone…fully charged!

What about electricity?

If you requested electricity on your application form it will be provided. Any electrical items must have a valid PAT test certificate and have been identified by you on the trader information form. Electricity can only be supplied for traders with products that require it. It cannot be supplied for charging phones/card readers/laptops etc.

Is there lighting?

We will provide some lighting in the winter months. If you wish to bring additional battery operated lighting you may.

Is there WiFi?

There is Free WiFi in the town centre, just search for Andover free WiFi. We’d recommend that you use your own mobile data for a better connection and use the WiFi as backup.

Where can I use the toilets?

Andover runs a community toilet scheme where members of the public are able to use facilities without making a purchase at participating venues. On the high street this includes Costa Coffee and The Redbridge Pub. There are also public toilets in The Chantry Centre and George Yard Car Park.

How do I sign up for a stall?

To apply to trade with us you need to submit the application form on this link.

https://forms.gle/SCHVBaQtpq1RPc9r6

If your application is successful you will be sent a link to confirm your booking for selected dates.

What if my application is not successful?

Second Sundays Andover is a curated market with a specific selection criteria. Stallholders will be selected using this criteria and we will try to give constructive feedback where possible.

Do I need to sign up for regular markets or can I select specific dates?

It’s not compulsory but we would like you to sign up to several if you can make it. We curate a carefully selected roster of traders that will trade in rotation and this gives flexibility to the traders that may have other commitments and provides the ability to forward plan.

How much does it cost to trade?

Second Sundays Andover is operated on a 15% turnover rent of gross takings. So for example if you were to take £100 on the day, your pitch fee would be £15. It is up to you to declare your takings within 24 hours of the event so we can issue an invoice.

Why is the pitch fee operated on a percentage basis?

This pricing model takes into account the fact that average price points are extremely variable between traders. It provides a low risk, even playing field for stallholders.

What about the £50 deposit?

Each event requires a £50 deposit to secure your booking. This must be paid by credit or debit card using a secure booking link that will be provided. The deposit is deducted from the 15% commission due. In cases where your commission does not meet the £50 threshold, the deposit will be refunded to the same card it was paid on.

Can I carry over my deposit payment to future markets?

Unfortunately not, each deposit must be paid and refunded separately.

Is there a charge for electricity usage?

Yes, there is a £5 flat fee for electricity.

Do you have any promotional materials I can use in my social media/newsletter etc?

Yes absolutely! We’ll share a marketing pack with you ahead of the event.

If you’re using socials please use the hashtag #secondsundaysandover and tag us @secondsundaysandover.
